Yongwen Wei, 87, of Gilroy, CA originally from China, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at his home in Gilroy, surrounded by his wife, Changmei Jin and son, Lin Wei

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Changmei Jin; his two children, son Lin Wei and daughter-in-law, Yumei Li; son Wei Wei and daughter-in-law, Chunmei An, and three grandchildren, Melody, Jingzi and Joshua.

Yongwen Wei will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and dedication to family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, California.

He will be laid to rest at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy, California.
