Yolanda Muro passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday August 5th, 2025 at the age of 78. She was born in Harlingen Texas on January 26th, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents Maximiliano and Pilar Chavarria, brother Robert Chavarria, and sister Nellie Carmona.

Yolanda is survived by her children Jesse (Frances), Yoli, Emily and Fino (Lane). Her Grandchildren Marisa, Angel (Monica), Jesse James, Haylee, and Aaron. Her Great Grandchildren Alison and Benjamin. Her siblings Aurora, Johnny, Richard, Irma, Max (Maria), David (Barbara), Danny (Martha), and Dora. And her many nieces and nephews.

She worked for Gilroy Foods for over 30 years until her retirement and is well revered within the Gilroy community. She was kind and caring to those around her. She enjoyed cooking for her family, shopping, going to the casino, watching WWE wrestling, listening to music, singing, and dancing. She loved tending to her garden and koi fish pond.

She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Mary's Church in Gilroy, CA on August 29th at 9:30AM(rosary) 10AM(mass) followed by cemetery at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park 1000 First St. Gilroy, Ca.
