Yesenia passed away to a better and more peaceful life on May 12, 2015.

She is survived by her parents Maria Del Socorro Pina Banda & Martin Mendoza of Gilroy. She has left behind her sisters Raquel Mendoza and Jacqueline Mendoza as well as her grandparents and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Yesenia was a senior at Mt. Madonna High School in Gilroy and was scheduled to Graduate June of this year. She loved to draw, sing, and was looking forward to pursuing a career as a cosmetologist. Her bright, warm smile and positive attitude won the friendships of those she encountered wherever she went. Yesenia will be missed by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:30 PM at Habing Family Funeral Home with a 7:00 PM Vigil service following at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Funeral mass will begin 10:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
