IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William E.
Robinson
April 9, 1950 – May 8, 2019
Bill was born in Ohio in 1950, he moved with his family to Orangevale, California at the age of 9. Bill was known for the passion he brought to every task and project he undertook. Throughout his life he worked in various trades: he was a welder, a real estate agent, he managed a motorcycle repair shop, repaired and built motorcycles, he was a golf instructor, and, with his karate black belt he taught martial arts. He was also an archer, and loved to hunt and fish. Together with Liesbeth he learned how to build fishing poles and fly drones. There were few things that Bill had not tried. Last summer, while he was recovering from his open heart surgery he asked everyone if they enjoyed fishing. Bill was in the process of readying the boat for the season. He could have spent a year taking everyone out for a fishing trip on his boat. Bill made many friends in the Morgan Hill - Gilroy area where he lived since 2010. He was very grateful for the support he received from all of them. He will be missed dearly, but the wonderful memories will be celebrated for a lifetime.
Bill is survived by his wife, Liesbeth Matthieu and her daughter Jacqueline Grant, his brothers, Ben, James, and Scott, his children, Sheri Keven, Steven Robinson, Humberto and Alex Chable, his grandchildren Jordan, Justus, Noah, Diego, Max, Danika, Jordan, Channel, Mia, Aysia, and his great-grandson, Jaydon, as well as his extended family in the Netherlands, Annemarie and George Pricker, Caroline, Sander, Kinge, and Margot Matthieu and Kim.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 10:00 am at South Valley Community Church, 8095 Kelton Drive, Gilroy, CA 95020
Philippians 4: 4-7 - Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding , will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ.
