Obituary
William " Bill" Donahue, 75, of Gilroy passed away at his home Friday, March 1, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.
Bill was born in New Limerick, Maine and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1954. He and wife of 38 years, Mary moved to Gilroy in 1990. They owned and operated a successful business in San Jose for 34 years and retired in 2009.
Loving husband of Mary Donahue of Gilroy. Son of the late Harold and Bertha Donahue. Father of Kristen McLane and her husband, Michael of Gilroy. Grandfather of Spivey and Vayda McLane of Gilroy. Brother of Anna Donahue, Sharon Miller and her husband, David all of San Jose and the late Gene Donahue. Also survived by many good friends.
Bill served in the National Guard for over 8 years.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013.
Family would appreciate donations to the Gilroy Police Officers Association, 7301 Hanna St., Gilroy, CA 95020 in his memory.
