Obituary

Dearly Beloved Mother and Grandmother Vivian Viviano passed away to be with The Lord on 12/17/11 after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Our Mother was born to Manuel and Emily Duarte, Portuguese immigrants . She married at the age of 28 to Joseph Richard Viviano . Together they raised 4 children Richard(Martha) of Arizona, Joseph Jr. of Gilroy, Tony of Elk Grove and Elizabeth(Fidel) Mata of Gilroy . Having survived cancer twice in her life time ,she was a very strong person with a very loving heart to her family and all who knew her. She was an excellent seamstress , gardner and cook, but most of all a great Mother,Grandmother and dear friend to many . She loved The Lord and did her best to show by example the Christian life . She was predeceased in death by our father Joseph Viviano Sr. and her brother Edward Duarte . She is survived by Raymond Duarte and Louis Lorenz of Spokane,Washington. She is survived by her Grandchildren Sara Badillo(Jesse),Jaci Viviano,Megan Viviano, Serina Mata and Jacob Mata and great grandchildren Dominyque, Mateo and Aelami Badillo, and Gianni Mata. She is also survived by her nephews John Paradiso, Paul Paradiso and nieces Paulette Zanotto ,Tonia Munro and Marcella Schafer and many other nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Her spirit was a great example of Love and Forgiveness. She was 89 years old. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 12/21/2011 6:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00. Burial will be Thursday, 12/22/2011 11:00 A.M. at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
