Vincent John Jimenez passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday February 28th, 2023.

Vince was born November 3rd, 1942 in Del Rio Texas.  His family moved to San Jose California when he was 6 months old.  He graduated from James Lick high school where he met his high school sweetheart Maida.  They married and started a family in San Jose.  In 1976 they moved to Gilroy where they built a beautiful life in the country.  He worked for the City of Campbell and retired after 30 years of service.  Vince was a very generous man with his time, helping out many friends and family with whatever they needed.

Vince is survived by his wife Maida, his children, Christine, Laura and Vince.  His loving grandchildren, Ava, Vince, David and Daniel, as well as great grandchildren.  Vince is also survived by his 4 sisters, Viola (Rocque), Trudy, Virginia and Velma along with many nieces and nephews.

Vince always had a quick wit and a smile on his face whenever you saw him and he will be deeply missed.

A 9:30am Rosary with a 10:00am Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial follows at St. Mary Cemetery, Gilroy.
