Victoria "Tori" Valdez, a Gilroy native, received her angel wings at the young age of 32 on Monday April 19, 2021. She went to school in Gilroy, and worked at various establishments during her short life, such as: The Outlets, Bahas Too, Ace Hardware, DMI, and CordeValle. She was loved by many, turning friends into family, and loving her nieces and nephews as her own.

Victoria is survived by her Parents, Grandparents, Sisters, nieces and nephews as well as countless family and friends.

Victoria's smile and laugh was contagious. She brightened up even the gloomiest of gatherings being her extra self. She easily made friends everywhere she went because of her witty humor, sharp tongue, and genuine personality. She wanted to be remembered as being genuine and she did not fall short of that. The word Believe, resonated with her throughout her life. She was always willing to help others, volunteering at a variety of different events in the community. She loved her glam and glitter, especially in her make-up. She took every opportunity to play in the pool, soak up the sun at the beach, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her mother. She brought color into our world through painting, her spicy character, and attire. She loved all types of music, enjoyed going to concerts, and playing board, dice, and card games. Tori was the life of every party, a nerded out Star Wars fan, and a devoted Oakland Raiders fan. She showed off her old soul with her love of Audrey Hepburn, oldies, and had an affinity for bees and sunflowers.
