Obituary
Vera Avila peacefully went home with our Lord. She is predeceased by Ernest Avila. They were married for 52, years.
She is survived by her daughters Vera Mungary, Darlene Fernandez, Janet Avila, step-daughter Barbara Diaz, grandchildren Ralph Mungary, Marc (Tami) Mungary, Tyson Valdez, Gina Valdez, step-grandchildren Edwin (Delia) Diaz, Eric (Kathy) Diaz, Everett (Lucia) Diaz, Eydie Charvez, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
She made Gilroy her home for the last 62 years.
Funeral Mass Thursday, February 17, 2011 - 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, 1000 First Street, Gilroy.
