Travis Von Fachin, age 48, of Bearden, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his home. Retired from the United States Navy, and very dedicated to the service of his country, serving on the Aircraft Carrier Theodore Roosevelt. He was employed as security with Shield and Buckler Security, Inc. One of his favorite hobbies was building model ships. He loved animals and collecting guns.

Survivors include his wife, Cassie (Edwards) Fachin; parents Eugene and Dana Fachin, California; sisters: Terra Cloutier and Dawn Magree; brother Neil Fachin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cobran and Pat Edwards along with one nephew, Jaxon Cloutier and two nieces, Kendra and Danielle Magree.  A committal service was held on September 2, 2020 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Full honors were held by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.  He will be dearly missed.
