Obituary

Teddy passed away on July 7th after several months' battle with cancer.
His parents, Theodor Vohrmann (Werman) and Anna Vohrmann (Werman)
emigrated to New York City from Estonia in the 30s
Teddy was born in New York city, an only child and would have been 75 on August 28th.
He attended Point Pleasant Beach high school in New Jersey, and graduated
in 1958 with honors.
He served 4 years in the Air Force during Viet Nam from 1963 to 1967,
stationed in Thailand, and an additional 2 years in the Air Force reserve.
Teddy joined IBM's service division in 1967 and retired in 1992 in San Jose.
He also served as sergeant in the Alameda County Sheriffs Reserve.
He was president of the PTA social club which meets every Friday afternoon.
Teddy enjoyed annual fishing trips with his buddies to Minnesota, Canada and
Mexico. For many years, he worked at the Gilroy Garlic festival as a volunteer.
His ashes will be interred at the Sacramento Valley National cemetery.
Teddy didn't want to have a service, but we hope to have a memorial
gathering in the near future. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
Thank you all for being his friend.

Note found with his fathers picture:

This is the way
I wanted him—
Blue eyed and blonde,
And tall and slim.
And of all the girls
In the world he'd see,
I longed that his love
Be just for me.
That is the way
I wanted him—
Well he's blue-eyed and blonde.
And tall and slim…
