Theodora "Teddy" Josephine Lazzarini, 02-06-1930 to 06-07-2017, was surrounded by her family, which included her children and a number of grandchildren, when she passed away in Auburn, Ca.  Teddy was the mother of 7 children, and grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She loved spending time with her family.   She was married to Edward John Lazzarini, Sr. and lived most of her life in Morgan Hill, Ca.

Early in life, Teddy worked in the banking industry.  After starting a family, Teddy spent most of her time driving kids from one sporting or recreational event to another.  She remained active in the community, school district and church.   One of her greatest joys were spending time with members from Saint Catherine's Catholic Church.   Teddy was a small business owner, running a travel agency for several years.   Teddy and Edward were involved in several other business ventures, including the ownership of the Golden Oak and Old City Hall restaurants.

Teddy was the daughter of Donald Carter and Eva Schaffer.   Teddy is survived by her sons Edward Lazzarini Jr. and his wife Laura of Gilroy, Rick Lazzarini and his wife Debbie of Simi Valley, Mike Lazzarini and his wife Leslie of Petaluma, Mark Lazzarini and his wife Annabelle of Salinas, Frank Lazzarini and his wife Molly of Cool, and her daughter Anna Lazzarini and her partner Pat Deal of Silver Springs, NV.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Lazzarini, who passed away in 2013.  Teddy also had two half-sisters, Donna Horne and Carol Emerick, both from CA.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church at 17500 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill on Thursday, June 15th, at 11:00 am.    A reception and luncheon will immediately follow the mass at Guglielmo Winery, 1480 East Main Avenue, Morgan Hill.
