Terri Lynn Jorstad passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 74. The daughter of Richard and Silva Strasser, she was born May 30, 1951, in Glenoma, WA. She grew up in Cinebar, WA with her sister Sherry. She loved her parents and sister Sherry and other siblings with all her heart. Later in life she would talk a lot about her Daddy, who she looked forward to seeing in Heaven.
Following her marriage to Larry Jorstad on June 15, 1968, they moved to Palo Alto, Ca. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother to four sons. Her family was her life. She enjoyed it when the kids would visit and enjoyed family get-togethers for birthdays and holidays. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Valley in San Martin and had many dear friends within her church community. She loved Sunday drives to the coast and trips to Lake Tahoe. She enjoyed reading Christian books and watching murder mysteries on TV while doing her nails each Thursday. She also enjoyed playing video poker on her iPad at night. She enjoyed watching the wild animals around the property, like the turkeys, coyotes and the vultures that came around after Larry killed a pig.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Floyd Jorstad “Larry” of 57 blessed years of marriage, four sons Randy Lee Jorstad "Randy", Jeremy Lawrence Jorstad "Jerm", Kenneth Richard Jorstad "Kenny" and Thomas Keith Jorstad "Tommy". Sisters, Karen Marine of Mossyrock, WA, Sandy Riffe of Glenoma, WA and Sherry Devore of Chehalis, WA. Her grandchildren Destinie, Cody, Journey, Quentin and Nathan. Great Grandchildren Rose and Neveah (Heaven spelt in reverse). She was a beloved mother-in-law to Holly, Gina and Katie and loved by many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her brother Keith Fuller and sister Jackie Macy.
Here are quotes from her four sons.
Randy: "I love you, Mom. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I will miss your love, your laughter, your playful heart and your commitment to God. I will miss calling you "Mommy Dearest".”
Jeremy: “I will always remember that Mom had a heart of gold. She was a generous, loving mother and grandmother whose bright, uplifting personality made it so easy to love her. "Party on Mom and be excellent!" You're in the presence of God now. I love you always Mom, see you in Heaven.”
Kenny: “Terri Lynn Jorstad was the best mother a son could ever wish for. Heaven is waiting for all of us to be united with Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to the one who awaits us all, Terri Jorstad, my sweet mother. May Mom rest in heaven forever. I love you Mom".
Tommy: "I love you Mom so much and miss you more than words can ever explain. You taught me so many things, Mom, thank you so much for everything. We had lots of laughs and fun talking and good times, holidays and all. I’m going to miss you very very much. You were so nice to me and to everyone. I thank Jesus and God so much for having an awesome Mom. I miss and love you so much, Mom. Love you to the moon and back."
