Terrence "Terry" Conrad Hansen was born in Chicago, IL in 1936 to parents Victor and Renetta Hansen. Terry married Marlene Schoenfeld in 1961. He was the proud father of Lisa Tripp (Vincent,) Kevin Hansen (Victoria), Gretchen Bassian (Lee), Christopher Hansen (Stephanie), and Ryan Hansen. Terrence was also the proud grandfather of Kaycee Radonich (Andro), Cody, and Cory Tripp; Beau, Joseph, and Jackson Bassian; Trevor and Naja Hansen; and Markus Hansen; and was also a new great grandfather to Baby Evia Radonich. Terry was an MD and obstetrician for 35 years and retired from Kaiser Permanente in 1995. His love for helping women bring their children into the world is a testament to his life. The greatest joy of his retirement was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His unique sense of humor and commitment to the Gilroy community personifies his footprint in our lives. He was a true Christian who opened his heart and home to friends and family, especially those in need. He will be missed by all. There will be a visitation Thursday 12/17 at Habing Family Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm followed by a short rosary, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy, CA 95020. Funeral Mass will be Friday 12/18 10:00 A.M. at San Juan Bautista Mission Church.
