Teri Lou Freedman entered her eternal rest on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Santa Clara California. She was born September 10, 1947 in Port Hueneme Ca to Commander Albert Howden and the former Evelyn Sams. Upon receiving her teaching credential as well as B.A. in English Literature from UC Riverside, she began her three-decade long career as a High School English teacher before becoming assistant principal and administrator.
She was a member and past president of the Gabilan Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Jamestown Society. She was an avid genealogist, photographer, traveler and memory keeper for her family. She could frequently be found researching or holding a camera to capture those memories.
She married Richard Freedman in 1975 and leaves behind her husband of 47 years. Also, daughter Marnie (Bob)Paterson, daughter Dana, son, Greg (Lana), daughter Lindsey (Johnny) Beasley, and son Robert Freedman. Grandchildren Keaton, Mina, Ali, Aurora, Duncan, Rhiannon, Finn, Gianna, Victor, Richard, Maya, Aubrey, Luke and Richie. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
