Susana Reyes

On June 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, Susana Reyes passed away peacefully at the age of 91. She lived a beautiful and meaningful life filled with love, laughter, faith, strength, and devotion to her family and friends.

Susana was born on May 25, 1935, in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, Mexico. In 1980, she moved to Morgan Hill then Gilroy, California with her husband and several of their children, where she spent most of her life creating a loving home and lasting memories for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Margarito Reyes, who passed away on December 28, 2019.

Susana was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved cooking for her loved ones, playing board games, telling jokes, and filling every room with laughter. She had a wonderful sense of humor — but behind it all was the biggest heart and endless love for her family.

She is survived by her children: Ruben Reyes, Ernesto Reyes, Margarito Reyes, Ismael Reyes, Alejandra Hernandez, Reyes Reyes, Maria Macias, Jaime Reyes, Susana Reyes, Vicky Reyes, Rosa Reyes, and Erika Reyes Helms, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, friends, and several beloved siblings who continue to reside in Mexico.

Although Susana is no longer with us, she leaves behind countless loving memories and footprints in our hearts that will never fade. Her love, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
