Shima was born in Nagasaki Japan on January 31, 1924. She came to the United States in 1955 and became an American Citizen.
Shima was married to Ralph Landry in Tokyo Japan they were married 14 years but divorced.
Shima worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for Sirena Company for 30 years.
She is survived by her daughters Gloria Landry Bressler Artibee (Ray Artibee) and Karen Landry Fryrear (Rob Fryrear), 2 Grandsons; Ryan Bressler and Family, Nicholas Bressler and Family and 1 granddaughter Amanda Bressler.
