Serafin J. Castro went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the age of 65 years at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He enjoyed life and was a very hard worker. Serafin owned his own landscaping business. He is survived by his wife, Emma O. Castro; children, Serafin Castro, Jr. and wife Gloria and Veronica Castro; five grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at 12 Noon at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
