We are sad to announce the passing of Santos Bañuelos Ramirez. He passed away at the age of 59 with his family by his side on Tuesday, February 28 ^th after 2 months of battling his sickness.

Santos was born on April 12 ^th , 1963 in Zacatecas Mexico.  His family moved to California when he was 9 years old.  He was raised in Hollister, CA and after marrying Deya, he moved to Gilroy and that is where they raised Steven & Marco.  After raising their two sons, they moved to Los Banos.

Santos is survived by his wife of 40 years Deyanira and two sons, Steven and Marco and Grandchildren Matthew, Aiden, Melody and Malaki.  Santos is also survived by his parents, Guillermo Bañuelos Sr. & Guadalupe Ramirez Bañuelos, his 3 brothers, Guillermo, Francisco & Amador and 5 sisters, Juana, Rafaela, Sadie, Rosa & Lupe along with many nieces and nephews.

Santos was known as a caring man with a hard work ethic. He loved his family, grand kids, and most importantly his wife. He will be deeply missed.

Viewing will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy 1-9pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 with a Celebration of Life @ 6pm and Rosary to follow @ 7pm.  Final viewing will be @ 11am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 with a Funeral Mass to be held at 12pm at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Burial follows at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
