Sally Barnes, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on May 21, 1958, to Mercedes and Roberto Palacios, Sally spent her final years in Hollister, California, a fitting home for a lifelong lover of gardening, flowers, and birds.

Known for her compassionate spirit, Sally worked for many years in the health care field, dedicating herself to caring for others. Her journey took her from Chino, CA, to San Juan Bautista and Gilroy, before she settled in Hollister.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she absolutely adored her eight grandchildren. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Wallace Barnes, and their four children: Wallace Barnes, Joseph (Jennifer Kleder) Barnes, Timothy (Ashlee) Barnes, and Leora (Edward) Barrios.

Sally is survived by her siblings, Mary Sparr, Margarita Armendariz, Rosie Lopez, Delia Palacios, and Ray Palacios. She is preceded in death by her brothers Louis Palacios, George Palacios, Robert Palacios, Richard Palacios and sister Gloria Palacios.

Sally's kind and nurturing nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to bloom in the hearts of her family.
