With heavy hearts, we remember and honor a loving, strong, and compassionate woman whose life touched all who knew her. Ruby Vaca, 51, was born and raised in Gilroy CA. She bravely battled cancer with unwavering courage, grace and dignity. Never allowing her illness to define the depth of her spirit or her strength.

She is survived by her five children— Michael, Anthony, Christian, Butterfly, and Journey. Also by her nine beloved grandchildren— Cayden, Caylee, Kinsley, Myah, Michael, Malaya, Cylus, Bee and Atlas. She was loved by her life partner, Hijinio, and was the daughter of Esther Vaca and her father, Gary Vaca who passed in 1998. Ruby is the oldest of her two siblings, Gary and Regina Vaca.

She had a remarkable ability to comfort, uplift, and inspire. Her strength was evident not only in her battle with cancer but in the way she lived her life—loving deeply and facing every challenge with resilience.

Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
