Ruby passed away peacefully at home Saturday, October 11, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Peter Musachia; daughters Linda (Marc) Gonzalez of Gilroy, and Teresa (Chuck) Cummings of Oregon; grandchildren, Sheri (Aaron) Grimsley and Donn (Lisa) Silacci; great granddaughters Nicole Patterson, Tayler and Kylie Silacci and Ava Grimsley.

Ruby was born and raised in Morgan Hill, graduating from Live Oak in 1945. Her family was one of the founding families of Morgan Hill, dating back to WW I.


A Visitation will begin 1:00 PM followed by a 7:00 PM Vigil service both on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Morgan Hill.
