Ruben Jimenez Carrasco passed away on December 11, 2019.

Ruben was born December 25 ^th , 1936 in Rosales, Mexico. When he was 18, he moved to the U.S. to work on a farm. Once he was settled, he became a welder and mechanic which he loved doing. He worked on small aircrafts, cars, and even lawnmowers. Everyone came to him whenever they needed something fixed. Ruben is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved God and welcomed anyone to pray with him. He was known around town for always bringing donuts to everyone, especially his friends at Lowe's. His dog Zoey will miss him dearly as they were best buds.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 58 years. They met at a dance in New Mexico and were married three months later! He is also survived by his four children, Michael (June), Sandy (Ken), Freddie (Jacqui), and Sergio (Lucy). Grandchildren: Aidan, Jordan, Christian, Jennifer, Brittany, Taylor, Cali, Javin, and Matteo. He is the brother to Manuela, Carolina, Herlinda, and Emma, and is the uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home with an open casket viewing at 10am, service at 11am, and burial at 12:30pm at Gavilan Hills Memorial.
