Aviles, Roy Sanchez, 62, entered into rest January 24, 2010 in Palo Alto, CA. He is survived by his sons, Casey Rian and Travis Robert Aviles; father, Robert D. Aviles and his late mother, Helen Gonzalez; brothers and sisters, Robert Aviles, Cecilia Quihius, William Aviles and Bernice Sanchez.
He was a business owner of a floor covering store, and a member of the Rotary Club, Merchant Association and Chamber of Commerce of Morgan Hill. He served in the U. S. Army and was a Veteran of Viet Nam.
Roy was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and a friend to the world. He had a passion for life. He loved sports of all kinds, water sports, music, dancing, traveling the world and most of all riding his Harley.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street, Gilroy, CA followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. In lieu of flowers donations to Haiti or the American Liver Foundation would be preferred.
