IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose Marie
Evans
September 25, 1937 – March 15, 2022
Rose Marie Evans was born in Santa Clara Ca on September 25, 1947, to Anthony and Marie Dias. Rose Marie passed away in her home on March 15th, 2022, at 11am at the age of 84 years old with her family by her side.
She will forever be remembered as an exuberant and lively lady who always wore a flower in her hair. She could bring any plant back to life. She loved newborn babies, and frequented the theater to see musicals, plays and movies with her friends almost every weekend. You may have crossed paths with her from her morning walks on the levy with her dog Petie or Gus, or during early morning swims with her sister at the gym. Maybe you had the opportunity to chat with her while she tended to her garden at home, or while she was enjoying a cold diet pepsi on her front porch. Or maybe you held long conversations with her at one of the many block parties her and her husband attended on Chiesa Drive. No matter the circumstances we will never forget how she made us feel. Her laugh was contagious, and she loved her husband and family unconditionally. There are no words to describe how deeply we will miss her.
Rose Marie is preceded in death by her mother and father Marie & Anthony Dias, her brother Robert Dias, her sister Pauline McWhinney and husband John McWhinney, her son Douglas E Hogue, and her grandson Arnold J Crocker II.
She is survived by her husband, Fredrick A Evans (Spook), her brother's wife Dulcie Dias, her son Danney T. Hogue and wife Rhonda Hogue, her daughter Julie Ann M Crocker and Companion Edward C Holbrook, her grandchildren Devin D Hogue, Katie J Hogue, Sabrina N Crocker, Emily Ann M Crocker, Molly E Mers and husband Jordan San Vicente Mers, and Grand-Daughter in law Julia Rodriguez.
