IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose Corona
Campos
November 7, 1948 – August 28, 2021
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Rose passed away at her home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 28th, 2021.
If Rose were writing this she would be thanking each and every person who added something to her life, and not thinking of what she added to theirs.
Rose was a very loving, supportive and generous person. She loved to be around her family and friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need; opening up her home to anyone who needed a place to stay. Rose would would make sure to make what ever you wanted to eat! Whether it was homemade tortillas, tacos with pickles (yes, pickles), burnt pancakes and two types of enchiladas because someone wanted it with flour tortillas and she usually would make them with corn tortillas. Her love was in the things she did for those she cared for.
Let's not forget that special thing her grandson would do for her: driving off in his GTR he would rev the engine for his grandma. Rose always made sure her grandkids had everything they needed and more!
Rose loved to sit at her kitchen table and watch her doves. They had a nest and would would lay their eggs . When they hatched she could sit for hours watching them.
Rose enjoyed taking trips. Whether it was to visit family and friends in Sparks, NV. Pico Rivera, CA. Madera, CA. Mesa, AZ. and RENO!!! (Cal Neva was one of her favorite places to play cards or dollar machines with the trains)
Rose will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Roy Campos, their three daughters and their husbands, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Annette & Ruben Plaza, Hope & Troy Morgan, Jamie De Luna, and son in law Ricardo Del Rio. Her eight Grandchildren: Priscilla & Joshua, Nathan, James, Dalton, Jesse, Angel, and Jazmine. Two Great grandchildren: Alayna and Damian. Her four-legged baby, Emma. As well as her three remaining siblings: Carlos Corona, Madeline Rivera, and Joanie Vegas.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Socoro Corona, daughter Mary Ann Del Rio, grandson Cruz Javier Del Rio, and siblings Fred Corona and Isabel Martinez.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, Sept 7th at 10am at St. Mary's church in Gilroy followed by burial at St. Mary's cemetery.
