Rosa Maria Guajardo Cardenas, 77, of Gilroy went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 3 ^rd , 2021.

A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Rosa served her Savior for the past 47 years.

She was a devoted wife to Arturo Cardenas of Gilroy, who was the love of her life for the past 58 years. Together, they had Cindy, Debbie, and Jeff; And she loved her daughter in law Courtney, and her sons in law Tom and Troy. She was a loving grandmother to Madison, Ethan, Brandon, Ella, Brayden, Cayson, Bridgette, Brenda, and a new baby boy on the way.

Rosa dearly loved her late parents, Margarito and Margarita Diaz Guajardo, and her siblings that preceded her in death: her brothers Margarito and Antonio, and her sister Elvira Duenas and brother in law Armando. She longed for the day to see them again.

She equally loved her living siblings too: brothers Carlos with his wife Silvia, Santiago with his wife Ellen, Tom with his wife Cindy, David, with his wife Anita; and her sisters Maria Baro with her husband Jorge, Delia Diaz with her husband Edwin and Myra Carrillo with her husband Danny; as well as her remaining sisters in law Tommie and Martha; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

To sum it up, she was a loving and giving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Nana, who always placed others' needs before her own. And she was an avid San Francisco Giant fan and loved to be with people.

The family will celebrate her life this Saturday at New Hope Community Church in Gilroy. It will be at 2:00 pm, with a private interment after.
