On Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, Ron ("Ronnie") Lamont Jr, loving husband, father of three children and grandfather of three, passed away at the age of 72.

Ron was born on February 13th, 1947 in Newton, MA to Ron and Dorothy (Moreau) Lamont. He was raised in Wayland, MA where he lived with his parents, sisters, and cousins and attended school. He served in the Army National Guard for 7 years.  On January 16th 1977, he married Linda (DeRoche) Lamont and they resided in Wayland, MA. They moved to California in 1978 where they raised two sons, Ron and Brian, and one daughter, Jodi. He spent his career as an Engineer in the Technology Industry.

Ron had a passion for sports and played as a Linebacker on his high school football team. He attended all of his children's sporting events from swimming to baseball to water polo. He loved spending time in the yard and combined his two favorite hobbies of often playing basketball with his kids while spending endless hours landscaping his yards. He loved the Lord, his pets, his BSA motorcycle, swimming in the lake, and most of all his family. He will always be truly adored by his family and friends. He was a true hero with endless strength and dedication to ensuring his families happiness. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Ron is survived by his wife, his three children, his sisters, brother/sister- in-laws, nieces/nephews, cousins, grandchildren and his beloved dog.

A memorial service date is still to be determined; information will be made available to friends and family.
