Our dear Rodolfo "Rudy/Jupy" Echeverria, age 81, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2015


Rodolfo was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on July 16, 1934,
A resident of Gilroy for over 30 years, he also resided in Guatemala City, New Orleans, San Francisco and Pacifica, CA.


He worked in in the agricultural industry and most recently he enjoyed his consulting work at USAgriseeds.


He was a true bay area sports fan devoted to the 49ers and Giants since 1967.

A dedicated husband and father he leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, his daughter Carmen Echeverria, his son Rudy Echeverria and daughter-in-law Tiffany Echeverria.


A special service in his honor will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 2 PM, at St Mary's Church located at 11 First Street Gilroy, CA 95020.

He will be missed by his family, friends and the community.


Relatives and friends are invited to an open house at the family's home immediately following the service.
