Roberto Ruiz Rodriguez, 65, of Gilroy, California, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 20 at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy, California 95020, his nephew Dane Michael's will be officiating. Viewing will be 9:00am until 12:00p.m., Saturday at the funeral home, with service starting at 12:00 noon.

Robert was born July 5, 1953 in San Jose, CA to Modesto and Carmen (Ruiz) Rodriguez. He graduated from Overfelt High School in 1971. On June 13, 1974 he married his high school sweetheart Laetitia Michals in San Jose. Robert was employed at IBM for 28 years. He retired 10 years prior to his passing. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He spent most of his weekends with his best friend and wife Laetitia. He also enjoyed exercising and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert is survived by one son, Robert Alexander Rodriguez, and two daughters, Christina Michelle Rodriguez and Angelisa Marie Galindo. He was also survived by his wife Laetitia and five grandchildren; Zachary, Leanae, Armando, Joshua, and Ethan. Robert was adored and loved by all who knew him.
