Robert R. Sanchez of Gilroy, passed away on October 29, 2014. He is survived by his brothers; Tony Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Mike Sanchez and Andrew Sanchez, and sister, Connie Sanchez, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Tony and Esther Sanchez; his brother-in-law Ruben Gallardo, Sr. and his nephew Ruben Gallardo, Jr.

Robert was born in San Jose and at the age 5 the family moved to Gilroy where he was raised with his brothers and sister. An avid fan of all sports, but he mainly loved his Giants and 49ers. Robert was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking and baking for his family. Employed by Walmart for the last 7 years he loved his job and his co-workers and they loved him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 both at Habing Family Funeral Home, followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park. A reception will take place after the burial.
