Robert Allen Glover passed away peacefully on August 26, 2022.  He was 86 years old. A special thank you to the people at Nan's TLC Home in Fresno for their loving care and support during his final months.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and generous spirit.

Robert (Bob)  was born December 22, 1935 in Gilroy, California to John and Kathrine (Fredrickson) Glover. He graduated from Gilroy High School in 1955 and was a lifelong resident of the Santa Clara Valley. He was a veteran of the National Guard and the Morgan Hill Volunteer Firefighters.  Bob was employed as a master machinist working for over four decades in the heart of Silicon Valley's technology industry.   He was an avid hunter, and he spent many of his vacations fishing in the High Sierras.  He also enjoyed traveling and had visited most of the 50 United States.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katie, and his wife of 41 years, Evie Inez (Smallwood) in 1997.  He is survived by his three children, Michael Dean, Susan LeMay, and Robert Eric, along with countless beloved friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for a  memorial service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy, CA  (129 4th Street, 95020). There will be a Celebration of Life reception at the Gilroy Senior Center in Gilroy (7371 Hanna Street, 95020) immediately after the service.
