Robert "Rusty" Russell Esparza of Gilroy, Ca passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, surrounded by those he loved the most.

Robert was born on March 9 1959, in San Jose, Ca to Robert and Eva Esparza. Robert is the third child of five children and the eldest son.

Robert was an incredible man who was hard working, funny, caring, and so loving to his family. Robert was an Office Modulator and started his own business in 2000. Robert worked in the business since the 1980's and built many life long friendships. He has employed many people over the years but more recently he has been working side by side with his youngest son Robert.

In his free time Robert enjoyed creating things. He took pride in every project he worked on from building an additional room for his expanding family to adding an accent wall to his new grandson's nursery. Robert enjoyed watching sports especially the SF Niners and Giants, watching dirt bike racing, Ghost Adventures, UFO's, and Big Foot. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

To Robert, family was the most important thing, and he was most happy when his kids and grandkids were all together at his home.

He is survived by his children; Isabel, Renee (Brian), Anthony, Denise (Bryan), and little Robert. He was an amazing grandpa to eight grandchildren; Angelina, Sammy, Elijah, Leyla, Catalina, Greyson, Weston, and Jonah, and a great grandfather to Esiah. He was an uncle, cousin, brother, and brother-in-law to many.

Robert leaves his loving wife, Esther, who he shared over 35 years of marriage. Robert and Esther loved to watch TV, go on cruises, go to Casinos, explore the West Coast, and host big family events.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 21, 2023 at Habing Funeral home in Gilroy, Ca from 12-3pm. A celebration of life will be held at The Neon Exchange in Gilroy from 4-7pm following the funeral service.
