Robert William Allen passed away on June 12, 2015 after a long battle with multiple illnesses. Bob was born and raised in Eureka, CA and was a graduate of St. Mary's College of California.

Following a long and successful marketing career that found him on the pages and screens of major media outlets across the country, Bob turned his attention to his woodworking business. Inspired by the beautiful redwood burl from is hometown , Bob created both functional and decorative art and furniture pieces that retained the natural flow and lines of the wood he collected. His work is exhibited in numerous galleries in the western US and can be found in homes around the world.

Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Blaine, his son Chet, his mother Claire Allen of Eureka, sister Teri Nelson of Gilroy, daughter-in-law Renee, and beloved granddaughters Brooke and Kendall, as well as numerous friends and relatives.
