Richard G. Rodriquez
Born June 16, 1947. It was very sudden, sad & unexpected when Richard passed away @ 2 am on January 27, 2010 @ the VA Hospital in Palo Alto. Richard was a jack of all trades, he could fix your car, house & heart if possible. He ALWAYS had a quick joke 4 U....yes he did! Our Richard always gave a helping hand 2 any 1 that asked! He was mainly a carpenter, but had a history of many accomplishments. He was a soldier in the army, Airborne Division, with a sharp shooter medal & honorable discharge in July of 1970. He used 2 be so proud 2 hand out his business card- "R.R. Construction- In & Exterior painting, ceramic tile, remodeling, plumbing, concrete/Stamp & Fencing." He survived by his loving wife Margie Rodriquez, youngest son Buddy, daughter Kimber, His oldest son Richard, daughters Liz, Denise, Diana & twin- late son Alexander, 14 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. Brother's & Sister's Nadine, Carlos, Vera, Jenny, Pearl, Frank, Victor, Manuel, David, Rosie & Ruby. His late parents Manuel C. & Delphina G. Lopez & his brother in-laws, sister-in laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, God-children & many, many friends!
Services will be held on Thursday Feb. 4th @ Habing Family Funeral Home 4th St. in Gilroy: Viewing from 5-7pm, Vigil 7-9pm, Friday 9am @ Habing & drive over 2 St. Mary's on 1st street in Gilroy @ 10am. After church drive over to San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 West McCabe Rd., Gustine, CA. 95322, for 1:30pm burial service to honor him & say our last goodbye. Reception following @ 8195 Monterey Rd. in Gilroy @ the Longhouse. We Love U SO MUCH DAD, HUSBAND, GRANDPA, BROTHER, UNCLE & FRIEND!!! Never thought this day would come! ........but, we will stand strong knowing U are with Jesus now!
