Obituary

Rhonda Brummitt, 56, of Gilroy, California, passed away on October 22, 2024, after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer. Born on December 3, 1967, Rhonda's life was defined by love, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Paul Brummitt; her daughter, Kaitlin Deans (Mike); her cherished granddaughter, Lilah; her twin sister, Regina Doyle (Joe, Lindsey, Lauren); her brother, Kevin Bailey; and her parents, Tom and Shirley Robins. She was a proud resident of Gilroy since 1995, where she built a life filled with family, community, and meaningful connections.

Rhonda's professional life was equally remarkable. For nearly three decades, she co-managed South Valley Windows alongside her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. She also dedicated 35 years to her career as a property manager with March Development Company, where she was respected for her hard work, attention to detail, and ability to form lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.

Rhonda found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was spending weekends in Dorrington, enjoying walks along the beach in Aptos, or savoring wine tastings with loved ones. She cherished time in nature and loved creating memories with her family—especially with her granddaughter, Lilah, who was the light of her life.

Rhonda's warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone she met. She will be remembered for her ability to make those around her feel valued and loved. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched.

A private celebration of Rhonda's life was held on the beach in Monterey, November 15, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Rhonda's strength, love, and beautiful soul will remain forever in our hearts. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
