Raul Muniz Sr passed away peacefully on December 16, 2020 after a short illness surrounded by his family in Los Banos Ca.

Raul was born and raised in Texas before moving to California with his wife Josefina and 3 children Raul Jr, Mary and Ruben. They moved to Fresno and had more children  Alfredo, Phillip, Abel and Roy.

They then moved to Gilroy and raised their family. Raul and Josefina decided to move to Modesto Ca  He was a certified welder. He was very well known for his love for music and played the accordion. He had his own band and his son Phillip played the drums. Raul was a very loving man and will deeply  be missed. His smile would lighten up the room.

Raul is proceeded in death with his wife Josefina Muniz, son's Raul Muniz Jr and Phillip Muniz Sr.  He is survived by his Kids  Mary Muniz-Stern (Bob) of Los Banos, Ruben Muniz of Modesto, Alfredo Muniz ( Jamie) of Los Banos, Abel Muniz of Los Banos and Roy Muniz Sr of Fresno. He also helped raise his grandson Henry Gallegos Jr and granddaughter Monique Muniz.  Raul had 21 grandchildren, 46 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
