Phillip Konstantinos Kouretas, 62, passed away at Stanford Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Phillip was born in San Jose, California to Konstantinos (Gus) Kouretas and Shirlene Kouretas who preceded him in death along with his beloved younger brother Leonidas (Lee) Kouretas.  He is survived by his brother Dimitre (Jimmy) Kouretas, his sister Nikki Kouretas, his aunt Karen Mastin (VA), his uncle Dwight Summers and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who rallied around him when he needed support.

Phillip loved working and worked as a horseshoer and a carpenter.  He could build almost anything and fix almost anything. He took pride in his accomplishments.

Above all, Phillip loved life and was always able to see the humorous side of reality and lift others to a better place.

We will miss him.
