Peter Joseph Alonzo, "Petey", age 60, of Gilroy, CA passed away peacefully with family by his side at the San Jose Regional Hospital on February 12, 2019. Peter was born on June 6th, 1958 to his loving mother Estella Alonzo and his father, the late Pete Alonzo. He survived by his siblings, Josie Alonzo, Owen Alonzo, Ruth Alonzo, Sally Alonzo, Chris Mendez, and Frank Mendez along with many of his, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunt's, uncle's, and friends.

Petey was a kind and happy man that complained little and loved a lot. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as writing in his book, going to work and school, playing his guitar to the Beetles greatest hits, bowling, fishing, and most of all mowing the lawn. Petey brought joy to many just by being in his presence and he will be dearly missed but never forgotten and always in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February, 21st, at 10 A.M and the Habing Family Funeral Home; 129 4th St, Gilroy, CA 95020.
