Peggy married Dick M. Yamano, November 21, 1969. She is survived by her husband Dick of San Jose; daughter Jeanette M. Yamano of Campbell; sisters Jacqueline Berg of Napa and Maxine Smith of Roseville as well as 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her son Robert M. Hunt.

She spent all of her married life, as a housewife. Anyone that knows her knows how much she just loved to shop. She had a generous heart of gold and could put a smile on anyone that came in contact with her.

Over the years, Peggy often made contributions to the SPCA, PAL and Fire Fighters Association.

She was fighting Heart Disease for several years and later developed End Stage Renal Disease (kidney disease) for the past 5 years. She never let the diseases get in her way of doing what she wanted to do, and was a fighter until her very last breath.

We'd like to thank the entire staff at Satellite Dialysis in South San Jose, for giving her several more years of a quality life.

A visitation will begin 10:00am Thursday, March 15, 2018 followed by a 1:00pm funeral service both at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy.
