Paula Delgado Matuk

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paula Delgado Matuk on February 12, 2026, at the age of 98, just weeks before her 99th birthday.

Paula was born on March 11, 1927, in Kansas City, Missouri. She spent much of her early life in Rio Bravo, Coahuila, Mexico, where she was raised and later met Antonio Matuk, the man who would become her husband. Together, they built a life centered on faith, hard work, and devotion to family.

Paula and Antonio came to the United States in search of greater opportunity, first settling in Texas before moving to California in 1955. They eventually made their home in Morgan Hill, where they farmed produce and raised their family.

A devoted wife and mother, Paula dedicated her life to caring for her home and raising their 10 children with patience, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her kindness extended far beyond her own family, as she opened her heart and home to many others over the years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend whose warmth, strength, and generosity touched all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 17400 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill, CA 95037.

Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 250 Spring Ave., Morgan Hill, CA 95037.

A reception will follow at Light House Apostolic Church Hall, 1515 Santa Ana Rd., Hollister, CA 95023.

Those wishing to send flowers may do so through St. Catherine Church.

No alcohol will be permitted at the reception.
