Paul Baltazar, born June 30, 1942 at home in Lovell, Wyoming passed into Jesus' hands August 28, 2015 surrounded by his family in Gilroy, California.

Connie writes "I was first attracted to Paul's handsome, manly appearance but more intrigued by his knowledge, kindness and love of his large family. He promised to love me until death do us part, but I can feel he still loves me even after death."

Paul is survived by his loving wife Constance Baltazar, children; Becky Suniga and Sarah Sanchez; grandchildren Alexis, Jose, Carlos, Lillyana, and Richie; brother of Polly (Sal) Mercado, Pedro Baltazar, Joe (Jenny) Baltazar, Esther (Ben) Rivera, Yolanda De La Cruz, and Rosemary Baltazar and mother in law Tomasita Kiba. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Leopoldo and Consuelo Baltazar; brothers Manuel and Rogelio and his sister Donna Baltazar; brother in law Louie De La Cruz and grandson Devon.

Paul's father was his hero who inspired his love of knowledge and to share what you know. He had a love of sports (Niners were "his boys" and if the Giants lost "it's the coach's fault!" He loved history, math, politics and had a memory like a steel trap. The love of his family was never ending from grandchild to grandparents, sisters and brothers to in-laws and step kids. They were all he same in his heart. His friends were many, some from as far back as elementary school.

There will be a memorial service beginning at 4:00pm, September 19, 2015 at his niece Lisa's home at 740 West 9th Street in Gilroy. Friends, especially friends from the neighborhood, Gilroy Canning and Matthews Metal, will be welcomed to reminisce and show love for Paul.

If he could he would thank you all for the fun, tears and life he shared. "See you at home my love."
