Patricia "Pat" Anne Smith Bradley

Patricia “Pat” Anne Smith Bradley, 79, passed away at home on October 16, 2026, with her devoted husband, Michael Bradley, by her side. They were married 47 years.

Pat and Mike worked as carpet and upholstery cleaners for forty years throughout Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties. Pat also did a great deal of work as a CPA.

For ten years, Pat worked closely with Rev. Michael D. Hendrickson, founding and leading the San Jose chapter of 40 Days for Life through twenty campaigns and growing it from half a dozen members to thousands. She retired as its founding director. She also gave her time to Birthright of San Jose, which supports women facing unplanned pregnancies.

She loved game night, her Diet Pepsi, and her cat, Joey.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her children Chris (Viviana), Michelle, Gerry Bradley, Mikey (Brianna), and Mary Ellen; her grandchildren Matthew, Benny, Derek, Kimberly, Scarlett, and Westin; her great-granddaughter, Shaylin and her brother, Dennis. She was very close to her special niece, Ellen Covello (Dave Brochu). She was preceded in death by her sister, Maureen Sparks, and her brothers Gerry Smith, Gene Smith, and Joseph Smith.

She will always be remembered as a true, dedicated, and faithful Catholic.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 28, at 9:00 am at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street, Gilroy. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. Mary Parish, Gilroy, with Fr. Michael officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos.
