Patricia Ann Moody

Patricia Ann Moody (Foster), known to all as "Pat," passed away peacefully at her home in Gilroy, California, on August 30, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy defined by an open heart, a joyful spirit, and a deep love for her family.

Pat’s journey began on May 13, 1933, in Pocatello, Idaho, where she was born to Newland and Katherine Foster. Her family later moved to Butte, Montana, where she grew up and graduated from Butte High School.

It was in Butte that Pat met and married Dave Moody, and together they were blessed with four children. Later in life, Pat found love and companionship again with her partner, Allan, with whom she shared a wonderful life until his passing.

Pat’s greatest joy was always her family. She was the heart of her home, a constant source of support, and she adored her nine grandchildren. She loved a good game of cards with friends, imparting a love of dominos to her grandkids and creating memories around the table that they will cherish forever. Simple pleasures brought her joy— starting her mornings with a cup of coffee and the daily crossword puzzle.

She lived a full and joyful life. Her spirit of adventure and passion for travel took her to incredible destinations around the world. She met everyone she encountered with genuine warmth.

She will be deeply missed, but her love, her stories, and her adventurous spirit live on in the family she adored.

She is survived by her children, Mike Moody and his wife Barbara, Dan Moody, Lisa Cimino and her husband Chris, and Christie James, her grandchildren, Patijo Moody, Rob Moody, Vince Garcia, Jerry “JL” Mangono, Kim Moody, Daniel Garcia, Aleese Krulee and her spouse Justin Krulee, Julianne Garia. She was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew Moody. She is survived by nine great grandchildren.
