Pat was an avid bowler with a 170 average. She was a television and movie aficionado, liked to read horror and romance novels, play softball, horseshoes, volley- ball and cards. She would go camping whenever she and her husband Leon had the chance. Pat also liked to vacation in Reno and play blackjack. Most of all
she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Pat always looked forward to spending time with them when they would visit. She looked
after Beau and Tim who lived in Gilroy for twelve years. She would take them to and pick them up from school every day, feed them and help them with their homework. They had a tradition of going to McDonalds on the last day of school every year. Beau and Tim brought McDonalds to her this year in the hospital to keep true to their tradition.
Pat was known for being a good listener by her friends. She always had a smile on her face and a shoulder to cry on if needed. She was famous for her fried chicken, tuna sandwiches potato salad and ice tea.
Pat met her husband Leon at her Father's bar in Morgan Hill in 1971 and fell in love. Pat was a professional homemaker for many years. In 1985 she decided to join the work force and found a job at a packaging company and soon advanced into a management position. She was well respected by her co-workers and praised by her bosses. In her spare time she would volunteer at Gilroy Bowl to help run tournaments.
Pat will be dearly missed by both family and friends.
