Patricia Ann Allen 69 years old was set free from her battle with cancer on August 16, 2015; She was surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home in the beautiful hills of Gilroy, CA.

Patricia was born November 23, 1945 in Monterey County, CA to her parents Jewel and James Beasley.

Patricia grew up running through strawberry fields and skipping rocks on the Salinas River with her five siblings Caroline, Gwen, James, Beverly, Kenneth and John.

Patricia became a single mother to Roseanna, Valerie, Sherri and Arthur Jr. after the loss of her first husband Arthur Castillo. She worked hard to feed and protect her children; she gave them the best love any child would dream of.

Patricia then met the man that gave her the world, Patrick Allen. Patrick took Patricia all over the world and pampered her the way she was meant to be pampered; he adored her.

Patricia became a Grammy to Arshana, Richard, Patricia, Corey, Dion, Amanda, and Aaron, she loved and spoiled each of her grandchildren beyond belief.

She became a Great Grammy to six wild and loving little boys who got anything they wanted from her; including the best kisses.

Patricia was known to be the most strong, loving and passionate woman. Patricia enjoyed a day at the thrift store followed by a night of cooking and drinking her beer. She loved her family more than anything and gave the world beams of light, even in dark times. Our angel will be missed but will be honored through the lives of her family, just as she taught us.

The visitation will begin Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 1 – 8pm, funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10am, both at Habing Family Funeral Home, burial will be at the Castroville Cemetery and reception to follow at Royal Oaks Park in Watsonville. All are welcome to come celebrate our beautiful Angel.
