Norma was born and raised in the Bronx, New York.  She was the youngest daughter of Allen and Gertrude Goncalves.  Shortly after graduating from Walton High School, she ventured west to Santa Clara, California.  What was supposed to be a short visit, turned into something totally unexpected.  As fate would have it, Norma would meet her future husband, Ken, never to return home.  She was married a short three months later.

Her and Ken enjoyed nearly 66 years of marriage, raising four children, surrounded by relatives, in Santa Clara.  Norma was a proud, stay at home mom and never failed to provide a healthy, home cooked meal.  She waited for her kids each day after school, making sure all homework was done before they could escape outside.  Aside from that, it was her mission to have the cleanest home on the block!  A passion she carried until her final days.

While still only in her thirties, Norma was overjoyed when her only sister, Diane, moved the family from New York to a home nearby.  Life must have gotten even better when her parents followed a few years later.  Norma was guided in life through her strong catholic faith and truly exemplified what this meant in her daily life.  She was a kind, loving, and caring person.

When Ken was close to retirement, they moved to her dream home in Morgan Hill.  Those later years were spent traveling, participating in many family gatherings, taking daily walks, volunteering at the church, and hearing Ken yell, "Hurry up Norma!"

Norma is survived by her sons David Ravizza (Stephanie), Allen Ravizza (Anne), and her daughter Christine (Jeff), eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband Ken Sr., her son Ken Jr. Sister Diane, and her brother-in-law Richard Clark.
