NICK J. MUSACHIA, 96, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Morgan Hill, CA. Loving husband of 66 years to Frances Musachia of Gilroy. Dear father of Kathy Filice and her husband, Gennaro of Gilroy and Lawrence Musachia and his wife, Chris of San Andreas, CA. Grandfather of Scott Filice of Gilroy, Paige Filice Davis(Matt) of Irvine, CA, Nick Musachia(Kasey) of San Andreas and Richard Musachia of Wendell, CA. Great-grandfather of Danielle Filice, Adeline Marie and Mae Anne Musachia. Brother of Peter Musachia (Ruby) of Morgan Hill and Jennie Velasco of Gilroy and the late Joe, Tony, George Musachia and Marie Foster. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of Morgan Hill.
Born and raised in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. Attended Live Oak High School. Army Veteran of World War II. A machinist by trade for 40 years with 30 years at BeGe Manufacturing, Gilroy. Member of St. Mary Church. Past member of SIRS. His passion was being a cowboy and ranching.
