Grandmother of Gus Edward Serrano (Michelle) of Hollister, Gregory Todd Serrano (Rhonda) of Tahlequah, OK, Roderick Philip Serrano (Gina) of Elk Grove, CA, Gordon David Fortino (Sandy) of Gilroy and Timothy Edwin Fortino(Annie) of Gilroy, David Gene Barnes of San Diego, CA, Cheyenne Nicole Brooks of Pismo Beach. Great-grandmother of Shyla, Styles, Ashleigh, Zebberiah, Zach, Ashley, Amy, Lucas, Niko, & Ciera.
Preceded in death by her brother, Troy Mason and sisters, Bonnie Cook & Mattie Ford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Hartshorne, OK.
Born & raised in Oklahoma. Moved to Gilroy after World War II. Worked as a Lab Technician at Gentry's for many years. Long-time member of the Gilroy Baptist Church. After retirement, Woody and Ella did extensive missionary work at various church's throughout the state.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriner's Hospital in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
