Michael Pimentel, 60, passed away on July 15, 2022.   He was born August 18, 1961, to Jess and Bonnie Pimentel, in San Jose CA.

Michael lived in Milpitas, with his Dad, before they moved to Santa Cruz, where he graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1981.

In 1990 he moved to the family property in San Martin, due to his struggle, with a lifelong illness.  He went on to get his Associates Degree from Gavilan College in Gilroy.  He then went to work for Home Depot for 18 years, until his illness forced him to retire.

The last year of Michael's life was very challenging, but he never let his illness interfere with the things he loved.  One of his favorite things to do was spending time with his friends and taking trips on his motorcycle.

He is survived by his father, Jess Pimentel, his brothers, Mark Pimentel and Clark Lundell, and his sisters, Cindy Rodriguez, Michelle Bean and Rachelle Denton.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a special person, who fought hard, to not let his illness get the best of him.  He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Kidney Foundation, would be appreciated.
